All of these together can help you to hone in on why you tend toward alcohol addiction and how to make better choices in the future.

California Alcohol Treatment Centers: Aftercare or Sober Living

Most who opt for a residential California alcohol treatment center stay for about a month. For many, this is sufficient. For others, more time is required in order to build a solid foundation in recovery before returning home. This may mean extended treatment or it may mean staying on in a sober living capacity. Sober living allows you to stay in a protected, drug-free environment while transitioning more slowly back into "the real world." On the other hand, if you would like the option of support but feel ready to return home and go back to work, then aftercare options may be more appropriate. The third phase of treatment at your California alcohol treatment center can be as much or as little as you need.
