Nic Cage Bad Behavior Due to Intoxication?

Nic Cage Bad Behavior Due to Intoxication? The Academy Award-winning actor Nic Cage was arrested recently in New Orleans for domestic violence, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness. What role did alcohol play?

Nicolas Cage faces charges of domestic violence, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness in New Orleans, where he’s filming his latest movie. The evening started out promisingly enough, with Cage and his crew stopping at a tattoo shop in the French Quarter. Following that visit, in which Cage didn’t get any new ink, the 47-year-old actor and his wife, Alice, got into an altercation, allegedly after the couple couldn’t identify which rental house was theirs.

The New Orleans Police said in a press release that Cage, who was "heavily intoxicated," was taken into custody after he grabbed his wife's arm and started hitting cars in a scuffle about whether the house they were standing in front of was the one they were renting.

In another TV-ready moment, Cage was released into the custody of reality TV star Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman, a bail bondsman who reportedly posted the actor’s $11,000 bond. , Cage is best known for roles in films like Raising Arizona and Leaving Las Vegas. In the latter, he played an alcoholic.
