The Definition of Aftercare for Drug Rehab
Aftercare refers to the period of time directly following your stay in the treatment facility. Helping you get your life back on track is the goal. Case managers and counselors are available to assist you with key life tasks: job training and placement, finding safe living arrangements, self-direction, and emotional healing. The transition back into the world is a critical time in your sobriety: you must readjust and reintegrate yourself, learning to implement the tools you've learned when faced when the same temptations and situations that originally led you to use in the first place. With The Canyon on your side, you don't have to go it alone.
