Drug Treatment Costs
Drug treatment costs are so much more than just the dollars and cents bill you get for enrolling in drug and alcohol rehab. The costs to your health, to your relationships and your family, to your reputation and your career, to your hopes and your future. these are unquantifiable. In the face of these drug addiction costs make the bills associated with drug treatment costs seem miniscule in comparison, a deal impossible to pass up.
At The Canyon, we are a drug treatment center that offers medical drug and alcohol detox as well as a well-rounded drug rehab that provides for you or your loved one from the moment they step through our doorway and long after they return home.
Drug Treatment Costs: Health
The costs to your health are expensive now and later. If you miss work due to health problems caused by drug and alcohol addiction, your paychecks get smaller. Then you have co-pays to see the doctor if you don't have to pay the full bill out of pocket. As those health problems get worse, you'll see those medical bills rise to cover multiple doctor's visits, prescription medications, surgeries and other procedures. Soon, those health problems become life threatening as usually happens when drug and alcohol addiction is present. The costs there are immeasurable, both to you and the family and friends you leave behind.
Drug Treatment Costs: Family
Even if you think you're hiding your drug and alcohol addiction, your family is still suffering as a result, whether or not they recognize the cause. Children of drug and alcohol addicts are increasingly more likely to develop drug and alcohol addictions of their own. Few marriages or relationships make it through drug addiction without drug treatment and rehab.
If your family doesn't know that your behavior is due to drug and alcohol addiction now, they soon will. Children get older and see things more clearly. Spouses or significant others eventually stop hoping that you'll just magically get better on your own or that the problem will go away. Families broken by drug and alcohol addiction are common. Don't let your family become a statistic when drug treatment is available.
Drug Treatment Costs: Financial
The financial costs of avoiding or delaying drug treatment far outweigh any drug rehab bill for services. Consider and add up the costs of the following:
- Lost pay due to missed days at work because of drug and alcohol addiction
- Lost pay due to lost raises because of poor performance thanks to drug and alcohol addiction
- The cost of the alcohol and drugs themselves each month, each week. each day
- ATM fees, credit card late fees and over limit fees plus higher finance charges for missed payments, checking account overdraft fees for bounced checks, penalty fees and percentage increases on unpaid bills
- Tickets, legal fees and court costs, fines and other bills associated with punishments for bad behavior due to alcohol and drug addiction and driving under the influence
- Replacement of items lost or broken while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and items sold to pay for drugs and alcohol
Just one of these costs alone, depending upon the length of time you have spent living with drug and/ or alcohol addiction and your tolerance level, could more than cover the cost of drug rehab. Drug treatment pays for itself.
