Recovery Month Events

Recovery Month EventsCalifornia alone is host to more than 50 events to highlight this month-long national focus on recovery.

As National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month continues throughout September, community events continue to draw attention to this important cause. In California alone, there are more than 50 events being held to draw attention to the issue of recovery.

Recovery Month Events Across the Country

Screenings, baseball games, barbecues, cook-offs, walk-a-thons, open houses, book release parties and many other gatherings are taking place throughout the month to celebrate recovery. There are also bowling nights, poetry readings and all types of fundraisers going on. Well-known organizations like SAMHSA, Alcoholics Anonymous and others are pitching in to make these events possible and help educate the public.
