Marijuana Rehab Intervention

When someone you love is addicted to marijuana, it can be hard to sit by and watch it happen. Characterized by a loss of goals, personality, jobs and money, often those closest to someone suffering from marijuana addiction are deeply affected. The statement should be short, factual in nature and told with the intent to illustrate just how severe and potentially life- and relationship-threatening their marijuana addiction has become.

When everyone has had a chance to speak, the subject of the marijuana rehab intervention should be given the opportunity to enter immediately into marijuana rehab under promise of consequences should he or she turn down the offer of treatment.

Marijuana Rehab Intervention: Why It's Important

Often, casual conversation is not enough to impress upon someone how severe their addiction is, especially in the case of marijuana. So many mistakenly believe that is a recreational drug and non-addictive. Unfortunately, this is not the case. When someone is addicted to marijuana, they forego everything-personal health, the safety of others, their goals, their relationships, their finances-in favor of getting and staying high.
