Heather A. Jameson, MS, LMHC, RAS
Residential Counselor Shift Lead
Heather A. Jameson came to the Canyon in 2011 with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked in diverse positions with many different populations, including families, children, elderly patients with dementia, and individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health problems. Most recently she served as program director at a narcotic treatment program.
Heather earned her Master’s degree in 2006 in Clinical Psychology and obtained her license as a Mental Health Counselor from Washington State in 2010. Heather has a true passion for the field of psychology and brings a wealth of information related to research, testing measurements and the history of psychology that help to provide richness to the treatment team.
During her off time Heather likes to spend time with her son and her husband, who is an active duty Navy Seabee.
