    Bethany J. Tucker, MD

    Psychiatrist

Dr. Tucker, received her medical degree from the University Of Washington School Of Medicine. She completed an internship program in Family Medicine at Providence Seattle Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Washington. Dr. Tucker completed Psychiatry Residency at University of Southern California Los Angeles County Medical Center, with an emphasis on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. After residency, Dr. Tucker served with Project Africa, treating patients who suffered with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Dr. Tucker believes in and dedicates herself to the patient's wholeness. Her belief in wholeness encompasses the physical, mental, and most specifically the spiritual capacity to overcome illness through positive beliefs in healing. She enables the patient to grasp a conscious sense of spiritual well-being in the belief that healing comes from within and can be assisted by medication. However, medication is not the entire solution. Dr. Tucker has developed a keen ability to listen which conveys to the patient a deep sense of caring and commitment, thus enabling the patient to relate to her with a sense of warmth and trust.
