    Diane Wagman, LCSW ACSW EMDR

    Therapist

Diane has worked with issues of Trauma, PTSD, Abuse, and Addiction in both her private practice and at inpatient settings dealing with co-occurring disorders for many years.

Diane's treatment orientation is psychodynamic psychotherapy from an object relations perspective. This approach is combined with EMDR and Somatic Therapy, and incorporates the most current research on the neurobiology oftrauma. EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) works with the emotional part ofthe brain that holds memory, images, sensations, and negative beliefs that are frozen in time at the age trauma happens. EMDR is a self-healing model that targets current symptoms and the triggers both past and present that cause emotional pain and self-destructive behaviors.

Diane has a BEd from University of Miami and a MSW from Barry College School of Social Work.
